High-volume e-motor automotive assemblies require perfect execution to maximize performance and ensure quality performance in the field. Paper slot insulation is inserted into stator cores, and the height and location must be critically ensured. Copper wire is formed into hairpin shapes, inserted into the stator motor to the correct depth and height, and then welded and connected to complete the circuit. Varnish, resin, and highly reflective materials cause this assembly to create challenging inspection requirements.
